The Hip Hop Helps...The Youth Music Therapy Tour presents a comprehensive, novel and innovative youth development program that will incorporate timeless principles, proven methods and modern music to effectively engage and retain Hip Hop aged clientele enrolled in high school. This correspondence outlines the complete scope of work that the Social Services of Hip Hop, The Hip-Hop Association and the Book Bank Foundation propose to deliver to schools and youth programs throughout the country as well as details the need for corporate and local sponsors to support the efforts of this program by providing resources to enhance the service delivery.  The Hip Hop Helps...The Youth Music Therapy Tour provides a priceless service and resource that will improve / develop critical life skills programming for each youth touched by the program.   

In today’s world, we are often teaching to a population whose learning style has changed.  We have reassessed the educational climate for today’s learners and conclude that adolescents and educators are at war with one another.  Our program design forces the educators and the youth to integrate and achieve a cohesive bond.  Youth that are less likely to participate in school programs must be motivated and excited about learning.  What better way to get students excited then by incorporating what they love, what they’re comfortable with and what they are familiar with – music. By incorporating modern Hip Hop Music into a structured educational atmosphere, The Hip Hop Helps...The Youth Music Therapy Tour provides a platform for developing students’ ability to learn.  

Our program provides a system of delivery that connects administrators and educators to the Hip Hop experience and changes their perceptions, knowledge and skills.  In this proposal we are seeking partnerships with Hip Hop Artists, business professionals, and marketing experts to enhance the substance and momentum of The Hip Hop Helps...The Youth Music Therapy Tour.  We believe that by incorporating elements that influence youths the most, we will be able to maximize the learning curve and achieve our desired results.
